To obtain a service credit, a customer must submit such a credit within five (5) days of the end of the calendar quarter in which the Service Level Commitment was not honored for an applicable Splunk Cloud service, by contacting Splunk under email@example.com with a complete description of the client`s downtime, disability and how long. Splunk reserves the right to refuse the service credit if the customer is not qualified. Splunk offers standard services for implementing and setting up your purchased offers, subject to payment of the fees for these services in an order and the terms of the configuration and implementation service attached to these Terms and Conditions. 1.2 Security and protection of customer content. Splunk has implemented administrative, physical and technical security measures to protect the security of customer content, as described in www.splunk.com/en_us/legal/splunk-cloud-security-addendum.html`s Addendum Splunk Cloud Security (« Cloud Add Securityendum »). Splunk`s security measures include, but are not limited to, training in the security (and contractors) of staff (and contractors), substantive testing and confidentiality obligations.
Splunk`s security controls comply with generally accepted industry standards, are subject to third-party testing (as described in the addendum cloud security) and are designed to ensure (a) the security and integrity of the customer`s content. (b) recognize the safety or integrity of the customer`s content and protect it from threats or hazards; and (c) to prevent unauthorized access to the customer`s content. Splunk provides services, including all associated Splunk software, Splunk applications, content and Splunk technology, for the United States.
